Upward^TM Sports:

What is Upward?   Upward is a nationwide sports program for children.  With careful intent, the design of the league, the evaluations, the rules and the coaches' training and instructions overcome the key negatives that make children either feel bored or left out.   Beyond all of this, it is a ministry that has the potential to transform entire families and impact communities by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Upward believes in the priority of children,  integrity and  discipline  through sports creating a positive experience for participants and voluteers.

The initial winter basketball program ran December through February  2010 for ages kindergarten through 6th grade  with weekly practice and Saturday games.  The CCC plans  soccar leagues in the near future.   Adult volunteers are always needed for this program.  Contact the program director, Linda Niendick, 816-517-2944.
