CCC Holds Appreciation Dinner
3/11/2010
Over 140 donors, volunteers, and affiliates attended the CCC Board's Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, March 11. It was the first large gathering for this particular group to see the building in action. Many commented on the ease of use and the great accommodations for a large group. Board President, Don Borgman opened with comments. Each member of the board spoke about current programming in the facility. From the cafe, to Upward Sports, to teen mentoring and even aerobics--the facility is already getting a full range of uses by local citizens and beyond. The goal is to continue to expand programming so that "lives of individuals in the community can be positively impacted." The group is calling for volunteers for a multitude of programs and tasks. If you have interest, please sign up at the CCC bulletin board or contact a board member.
