CAMP AGAPÉ 

The Community Christian Center is planning the second year of a tremendous  program for kids this summer, -- CAMP AGAPÉ.   This summer daycamp launched a successful first year in 2011.

CAMP AGAPÉ is a solid answer for parents who are looking for more than just a babysitting service this summer and are searching for a program that will give their children something of lasting value. The name Agapé (pronounced Ah-gah-pay) was chosen for our camp because it is the Greek word used to describe God’s unconditional, forgiving love.

Children are dropped off each morning and picked up each evening.  The camp is available for children entering Kindergarten through exiting Eighth grade.  You can enroll your child for one week, two weeks or more! 

CAMP AGAPÉ is for children in need of a safe, fun place to be this summer. Our program in Wellington is based on a summer day camp program that was developed 25 years ago. This program changes the lives of children while being awesome fun at the same time. What makes CAMP AGAPÉ so special?

  • Great Counselor to Camper ratio -- 1 to 6 -- So children get personalized care and leadership
  • Well-trained staff
  • Fun trips daily -- weather permitting, we will go off campus every day! Swim days twice a week and a major, day-long field trip each week. (See list below)
  • Fun Bible & Song Time four days a week. Plus, arts and crafts, games, etc. -- like a great VBS all summer long
  • Academic Coaching that helps students stay sharp and ready for success at school in the fall
  • Character training is at the core of the CAMP AGAPÉ philosophy
  • Financial assistance is available for families who qualify for free or reduced lunches at school
