What is the relationship between the CCC and St. Luke Church in Wellington?
The CCC building, parking lots and playing fields are located on land leased from St. Luke Church. Therefore, the CCC and St. Luke have a landlord-tenant relationship. St. Luke Church, like all area churches, is invited to use the CCC for any of its programs or activities and has reserved times for activities at the Center. Due to the fact that the CCC is located on land owned by St. Luke Church, St. Luke has some ongoing use of the facility by advance reservation, but the Church must place it’s events on the CCC calendar just like any other entity. It is important to note that members of St. Luke Church do not have any advance reservations or alternate rental rates; rental rates are consistent for all individuals, business and organizations in the area regardless of their affiliation.
