Tiger day camp

Tiger Day Camp (Monday Childcare/Social Services) With the advent of the Four Day School Calendar for the 2024-25 school year (See link for WN R-IX 2024-25 Board of Education Approved Calendar), we have determined there is a need for an optional childcare program on the non-holiday Monday's school is not in session. WN R-IX has partnered with the CCC (Christian Community Center) to provide childcare and social services on non-holiday Mondays school is not in session for the 2024-25 school year. The Tiger Day Camp program will be housed at the CCC at the dates listed below. Over the past few weeks the district was able to secure grant funding for the Tiger Day Camp from the Lafayette County Children's Services Fund. This grant will allow us to provide the service FREE OF CHARGE to WN R-IX students ages 3-12 for the 2024-25 school year. The Childcare window will run from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM on the following dates:

● September 16, 23, 30

● October 7,14, 21, 28

● November 4, 11, 18

● December 2, 9, 16

● January 6, 13, 27

● February 3, 10, 24

● March 3, 10, 17, 31

● April 7, 14, 28

● May 5, 12, 19

Childcare will NOT be offered on Holiday Breaks as determined by the WN R-IX School Calendar. Tiger Day Camp will include structured time in the following areas: Physical Activity, Enrichment (Craft/Project time), Supplemental Academic Work, Exploratory field trips, Meals and Snacks.

What is it?

Camp Agape is a summer day camp for area children that provides a safe, Christian centered environment, many learning opportunities with other kids, and just plain fun with an attentive staff.      

 When, Where, Who?

·        Camp Agape is at the Community Christian Center in Wellington.

·        Summer 2024  dates:  May 28- August

Monday- Friday 8:30 am- 3:30 pm  (inquire about early/ late services)

·        Exclusively for ages entering Kindergarten- 8th Grade

 What Does it Cost?

·        $110.00 per 5-day week

·        $  85.00 per 3-day week

·        Additional fees apply for early and late hours.

You pay for the weeks your child is registered to attend.

First and last week fees due at time of registration.

Invoices weekly; we accept checks or payment through Square®

 What Will My Child Do Each Day?

·        Field Trips four days / week includes swimming, bus trips to fun and educational destinations locally and in KC

·        On-site activities include Arts & Crafts, Games, learning about God with Friends
